About this tea

Where it sits among the others

Cinnamon is one of the brighter scents in the range — closer to lemongrass and patchouli than to the heavy resins. Where frankincense and myrrh are deep and ceremonial, this is sharp and warming, and it reads as awake rather than contemplative. It is the one to burn in a workspace in the morning rather than a bedroom at night.

Resin on a stick

These are raw resin pressed onto a bamboo core rather than a scented paste, so they burn hotter and heavier than an ordinary incense stick — closer to resin on charcoal, without needing the charcoal.

Burning it

Light the tip, let it catch for a few seconds, then blow the flame out so it glows rather than burns.
Use a holder that catches ash; resin sticks drop more than paste sticks.
Keep it away from open windows and fans — moving air burns it unevenly and roughly twice as fast.
One stick is enough for most rooms. Never leave it burning unattended.
