Tower Glass Infuser Teapot (750ml)

750ml is three or four cups — the size for a table rather than a desk. If you mostly brew alone, a 350 or 550ml pot will serve you better; a half-full pot of this size cools noticeably faster than a full one.

The tall tower shape and the deep basket are what make flowering teas work. A blooming bud needs vertical room to unfurl and clear glass to be worth watching, and a shallow infuser sitting in the neck of a pot gives it neither. The same depth suits large-leaf white and oolong, which expand more than people expect.

It can sit directly on a low hob, so you can simmer a spiced blend or keep a full pot warm through a long afternoon. Low heat only, never empty, and let it cool before it meets water.

Hand wash. Dishwasher detergent clouds borosilicate over time. Rinse the mesh before leaves dry onto it.
